At Kimberley Park Dental Practice, we’re passionate about patient experience, loyalty, and high-quality care.
We’re based in a lovely converted townhouse at 29 Kimberley Park Road, Falmouth, TR11 2DA. Our practice is a five minute walk from Falmouth town centre and Town Quarry car park, a one minute walk from Kimberley Park, or a 10 minute walk from Penmere Train Station.
We’re open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm.
Our friendly team will help you secure an appointment as soon as we can. We do our best to accommodate all patient needs and fix any problems on the same day where possible, including dental emergencies.
That depends on the treatment. We also try to minimise the amount of visits required, and offer flexibility for patients to choose how they want to distribute their treatment over their appointments to suit different schedules.
Absolutely! We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds, and pride ourselves on providing the best dental care in Falmouth to everyone that comes through our doors.
We are able to welcome new private patients. However, due to limitations with NHS, we are unable to register new NHS patients at this time. To add yourself to the local NHS waiting list, please call 0333 0063 300 or email accessdentalhelpline@nhs.net.
We do. If you require an emergency dentist appointment in Falmouth during the week, please contact the practice at 8.30am (or as soon as possible) on the day and we’ll do our best to organise an appointment. Outside of surgery hours, the practice answer phone will provide the numbers of the emergency service for registered patients.
We can definitely help you! We understand the dentist can be a daunting experience for many people, which is why we take the time to get to know you and the reasons behind your dental anxiety, and make you as comfortable as possible. Nervous patients are also given extra time to discuss options with their clinicians, and anyone is welcome to speak to our lovely practice manager to talk through options or concerns.
For patients with mobility issues, access to the practice is via a ramp to an accessible downstairs surgery. Some of our surgeries are on the first floor via a flight of stairs, so it’s important to let us know in advance if a downstairs surgery or additional support is needed. Unfortunately, due to the practice being a converted townhouse, the downstairs toilet has narrow access not wide enough to enter with a wheelchair. However, there is a disabled access toilet 2 minutes from the practice in Kimberley Park – we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Yes. For patients with a hearing impairment we can provide a portable hearing Loop system – please just let us know in advance.
Due to the location, parking is not available at the practice. However, Blue Badge holders are welcome to park on the road outside.
Definitely! Our practice isn’t only family friendly; we welcome everyone in the community to visit us. It’s important to us that we provide an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome. If you’re feeling uneasy, our lovely practice manager will help you choose a practitioner based on their skills and experience, and your needs.
After you’ve had an initial in-person consultation with us, we can accommodate remote telephone consultations for patients interested in treatment.
You should aim to have a dental check-up every six months. This is so we can keep track of your dental health and make sure we’re up to date with your treatments. It’s good to regularly see your dentist to make sure that any issues are caught as early as possible, which helps to avoid any bigger, expensive problems down the track.
Yes – all our clinicians deliver the highest possible standard of care, but we want to make sure our patients feel comfortable and at ease. You can request to see a male or female dentist, and we also help you to choose one based on the type of experience you prefer; e.g. fast and efficient, or chatty and relaxed. Depending on availability, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request and make sure you’re comfortable with your chosen dentist.
A dental hygienist basically makes sure you have healthy gums and squeaky clean teeth. At an appointment, our dental hygienist will check the health of your gums and make sure there’s no plaque build-up or gum disease, and usually carry out a deep clean and scale to remove any nasties, and finish off with a polish.
We sure do. The initial orthodontic consultation is free. If you’re a new patient, you’ll need to have a new patient examination first, but your follow-up orthodontic consultation will then be free.
That depends on the treatment – a new patient consultation will cost £110 (including X-rays). We try to make our treatments as affordable as possible, and offer payment and finance options as well. See our pricing page for more information.
We’re pleased to provide a Denplan Essentials membership to help patients budget for their dental care, and we offer three Denplan maintenance packages to ensure there’s something suitable for differing needs. We also offer no deposit, 0% interest finance options available for, 3, 6 and 12 month terms. See our pricing page for more information.
No, we use Reveal advanced clear aligners – an equally successful and popular treatment for people who want to achieve straight teeth, without anyone knowing. We also offer Cfast; a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that corrects alignment issues with the top and bottom front six teeth, twice as fast as clear aligners, and SmileTRU clear aligners; for people who have overcrowding, gaps, or crooked teeth, and only need to realign a few teeth in the front of their mouth.
It depends on the product and the treatment plan. We offer free orthodontic consultations, but if you’re a new patient, you’ll need to have a new patient examination first. Cfast discrete braces start at £1,600, Reveal clear aligners start at £1,599, and SmileTRU clear aligners start at £1,800.
Clear aligners are designed to be stain-resistant, but you do need to take them out when you’re eating or drinking colourful liquids to keep them nice and clean.
With some very simple maintenance after treatment, your lovely white teeth can last for a long time! We recommend wearing post treatment whitening trays using the Enlighten whitening gel for 1 night every couple of months and regularly brushing with Enlighten Tooth Serum to prolong your results.
Yes, it’s perfectly safe. We use Enlighten Evolution and Polanight teeth whitening treatments, which contain high-quality, regulation ingredients that are very common in dentistry. Some people experience tooth sensitivity, but we give you products to help with sensitivity, as well as a specialty toothpaste to help maintain your results.
You can, but only your natural teeth are susceptible to the whitening effects, so there would be a difference in colour variation.
Our teeth whitening at Kimberley Park Dental Practice starts at £360, and depends on the results you want to achieve. Talk to us about your options!
Yes, it’s really important that you wear a face mask when you’re inside the practice. Unless you can provide valid proof of exemption, you won’t be allowed to enter or attend your appointment without a face mask. We’ll let you know when you can remove your mask for treatment.
As above, you need to wear a face mask when you’re inside the practice, unless told otherwise. To keep our staff and other patients safe, your appointment could be deferred at short notice if you visit the practice with ANY cold or flu symptoms, or have been exposed to Covid-19. Our practice is always kept exceptionally clean and sterile, so you can rest assured that your health is in safe hands with us.
Fill in your details below, and we’ll be in touch to arrange a suitable date and time for your appointment. Alternatively if you have any questions, feel free to give us a call – we’re always happy to help.
